B-days
I'm going a little eBay-happy because of one nutty idea I had. Dave has this ancient Tim Hortons travel mug-- the white with red from a dozen years ago or something like that. The current models are monochromatic chocolate/coffeebean colour. He says he's fond of the one he has right now, especially with its' durability on camping trips. Tie it in with the eBay comment, and voilĂ ! I'll have some in my possession soon enough to add to the bday gift pile. I already bought a fancy corkscrew cuz he's into wines (even does the Wine Kitz thing every once in a while). Add that with a mug, and there we have it.
Dan's gift is a little tougher to put together. I hand-made a beaded keyring with a panda motif. I also picked up a shotglass with a joke printed on it. He's hinted on some other stuff, but I'm also thinking price range too. That, and does he really need more tech toys? It's kinda like helping him to have less time for me. LoL.
I picked out some items for Steve's birthday, which is right before Dan's, in a couple of weeks. I have no idea how I'm getting up to Ottawa for the party, which his GF is planning. Anyhoo, the gift, or gifts I should say, are hockey-themed. Maple Leafs logos on the notebook, package of pencils, and a little puck plushie. He's soo cute, and has the hologram tag for proof of authenticity.
Anne Marie's bday is the same day as my surgery followup. I'm not sure what to get her at this point. I might make a notebook for her. I think that would be more or less what I'd give to Hollie and Howie and Keith this year. At least their bdays are in December-- all behind mine.
Ok, since this post is taking longer than expected, and the late hour is fuzzing up my brain, along with it being drained after long post right before, I shall hit the hay and continue later.
