Forgot about this one
So, quick recap...
Went a year without a computer/tv at home, well most of a year. At some point, I hijacked my brother's used cpu and it was barely sufficient to stay connected. It was definitely frustrating, since it was an obsolete piece of junk.
Also had gotten into Geocaching-- hunting containers of various sizes that may or may not contain little trade-able trinkets. Check out Geocaching.com for the specifics-- there's also a video to explain it all.
I had just discovered the world of Criminal Minds before losing my connection to the outside. Loved the quotes. Ever since junior high, I've been trying to collect the ones I came across. All because of the homeroom teacher, Mrs. Snowball, would have one up on the board every day. There were more than a few that she saw from a nearby automotive shop that would have quotes on their sign too. I had gotten a little notebook that I've been filling up with some of these quotes. However, with the last move, it's packed off in the back of an overcrowded bookcase. I've been using an Android app and also connecting through their website-- Evernote.com. It's been handy for a lot of random notes, and can also upload pics from the phone's camera, and make notes to them.
Since getting my computer fixed, I've gone totally crazy with this show. I've even gotten the entire show on DVD, which came just in time for my bday. I've even followed a lot of the folks involved (both in front of and behind the camera) on Twitter. Until a couple months ago, my Twitter barely had any activity. It was like maybe a hundred Tweets, and now I'm past 400. Anyone who came here via my Google+ likely have seen how the majority of my posts and +1s are CM related. Heheheh.
And that's all for now. Toodles.

Cross-stitch projects
Stumbled upon someone I just started watching. Followed links to the ecrater store. Amused by the Twisted Thoughts line: http://dpeagreendesigns.ecrater.com/c/889163/twisted-thoughts-chinese-symbol-kanji
Also need to take a look @ http://www.iktsoft.net/kgchart-en/ when I have more time.

Mini-catch up post (in brief)
I had a concert with the Grace United Symphonic Band in Ottawa (actually two performances with a bit of sight-seeing), also went to Otakon in mid-July, helped Stef move in August, moved to Markham from Etobicoke-- the same day that Amanda moved. Right at the end of September. I'm still settling in, subletting off of a former classmate. The place is currently half demolished in prep for reno, and the stove/oven isn't working very well anymore because of the cleaning/replacing of parts. Stove's too old to find proper replacements for.
CSI: On man, Sara's switched to swing! The previews look somewhat steamy for her relationship with Grissom. I'm still a tad upset that I missed the new NY one this Wednesday-- not the whole thing tho, cuz of the election coverage, but I stumbled upon a later airing on a different network. Wish I knew, cuz I missed most of the teaser (opening set-up).
Dad gave me a lift to mom's yesterday morning cuz I promised to save my boxes for her to use, but they were too big to fit into the bundle buggy. I forgot about two of them, so I'll have to bring them over another time, somehow.
And that's it for now.

Yay for summer, right?
But why is it so freakin' cool out?
Anyhoo, Steve and Michelle finally tied the knot-- April 21st. The reception was pretty cool. I got dressed up-- and it was worth the effort, I guess. A groomsman complimented me a few times on my appearance, even asked me for a dance. This same guy caught the garter, and I had caught the bouquet.
My hamster died a few days after that. We buried him in the compost pile, as the rest of the backyard has fire ant colonies.
In the first week of May, I adopted a kitty. Runt of the litter, but who cares? His name is Sebastian. He wasn't eating so well when they had him in the shelter, but he's doing a lot better now. He's also grown quite a bit since I adopted him.
We have our second booster shot this coming Tuesday. He'll be weighed again, to see how much he's gained. And to see if he's still underweight. When I took him in last month, he was 1.2lbs, when he should be weighing 2lbs.
The last week of May involved having Elesia moving in with us. It's been one roller coaster ride since. It's also a tad difficult, since my room layout made it hard to share a room, and while Amanda's room is more accomodating, it's very crowded with the two and Jordan (Amanda's cat).
Speaking of Jordan, he's been really after the hamster for the last few weeks. Amanda had to put Rafael on top of the wire rack, just so the cats can't get up to him.
Elesia's wedding has been postponed, because the church leadership believes that they need to be more financially responsible before getting hitched. Elesia's currently not working, but she and Sean have some online marketing thing going.
Oh! Almost forgot. Sonnobia and Deo are dating now. It's been long enough a wait. Heheh. He drove her home on Sunday because she came out here to do stuff and deal with the MIA bride-to-be Allen. Another reason for the ride home is because Sonnobia's got an extra computer, and giving it to someone who doesn't have one-- like Deo. He asked her on the trip home. How cool!
Anyhoo, gonna go eat lunch. Toodles.
