Certainties of life: death and taxes

Since tax man has been appeased until next year, this post is yet another downer. Like blogs aren't full of drama already.

One of my closest friends passed away unexpectedly two days ago. I even wrote a poem about his passing. I wish he was still here, and the suddenness has hit us hard. I hope he didn't suffer.

Memorial arrangements are in the works-- but there are a few of us who wonder how will they notify so many of us.

Meanwhile, everyone's trying to keep busy to not be overwhelmed by this loss. It'll be easier for me once I get started on today's agenda.
